Thomas A. Dubrey

Tom earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance from Worcester State College and became a Certified Public Accountant. He continued his education at Bentley University, earning a Master of Science Degree in Taxation and focusing on corporate taxation and IRS conflict resolution, including offers in compromise and voluntary disclosure. Tom has also served as an adjunct professor of accounting at Worcester State University.
Tom started his career in regional accounting firms serving small business tax, individual tax and audit clients in central Massachusetts and progressed to lead roles on large, international accounts with revenues in excess of $500 million. Tom also gained extensive experience managing the tax planning and compliance work for high net worth business owners. His experience in public accounting led to a position as Domestic Tax Manager for an $8 billion Fortune 500 manufacturing company, where he gained exposure to tax planning and strategies typically available to the most sophisticated taxpayers. In addition to his tax experience, Tom has gained extensive training and experience in governmental auditing of Not-For Profit entities and For Profit contractors with Federal awards.
In 2008, Tom returned to public practice as a sole proprietor and later acquired the Sturbridge, MA accounting practice of Culliton & Fanning CPAs. Today, Tom is focused on applying his knowledge, education and experience to the clients he serves. He offers a wide variety of accounting, audit and tax services to individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations.
Tom was born, raised, and currently resides in Sturbridge, Massachusetts with his family. He is heavily involved in his community, having serving on local finance committees, civic organizations, bank board of incorporators and Homeowners’ Associations.
